Is it Spring or Summer?

Overall, had a good weekend. On Sat. Kristin and I went out to meet some friends in Ann Arbor to catch a comedy show and we had to head home before it started because Brett was crying and not eating with the Grandparents. We got home, fed him, and put him back to bed. I guess he is going through a stage he doesn't like to be left with others. He may have had some lingering effects from the doctor too. Today we went to IKEA and he was great! We went for another marathon walk this morning as I took him all over the city. He usually sleeps half of it and looks around taking it all in, the other half.

4 months checkup

Brett had his 4 month check-up and now weighs 15lbs 6oz. This puts him in the 61st percentile. Also, he has gained two inches and now is 25 inches long. All in all it was a good check-up. Dr. Moore is monitoring his birth mark but isn't too concerned at this point. We have our appt. at Kellogg Eye Center in two weeks so we'll update eveyone then. Brett did get two shots, which is hard to see happen but they are obviously for a good cause. Beautiful day today so Kristin and him hung out outside a lot. Tomorrow should be another nice day! Maybe I will add a video this weekend.

Catching Up

Been a while since I posted because everyone in the house has been sick at least once in the last 3-4 days. Brett was probably the least sick, thank goddness, but did have a day or two of extra spit-ups and green poops. We made it through it all and look forward to catching up on sleep and hanging out outside as the weather is warming up. Oh yeah, nothing better than watching your son sleep.....

In The BUMBO

Brett is having a rough week of sleeping....thus we are. We think it may be his cold but we are ready to try new techniques once he feels better. I'm going to miss him when I head out to CO. We've been hanging out as much as possible and we had a fun morning today together. Here's a video of him sitting up right in his Bumbo chair.

Final Four Weekend

Brett and the family are getting ready for the Final Four. I went downtown with some friends to check out the practices and today we are going over to Grandma and Grandma Marr's for the game. Brett has a little bit of a cold today but it isn't affecting him too much.....just really stuffy. I've added a video of one Kristin took of Brett starting to grab things.

Updated Weight

Brett had some shots at the Doctor yesterday but only cried a little bit. He got weighed too and he now is up to 14lbs. 8 oz. This now puts him in the 68th percentile and I believe more than our cat Annie. A couple more lbs. before he catches Madelyn!Looking back at my baby pictures I was a little chunker around this time as well. I'm excited to see Brett and Kristin today because they are going to come pick me up from work and take me to lunch!
