Grandma and Grandpa Marr brought over Brett a train set and he loves it! It was Uncle Matt's when he was a kid. Brett seems to like to sit in the middle of it and push the cars around on the track. In fact, Brett likes anything to do with cars. Every morning the first thing he grabs is his matchbox cars that I got him. He even makes noises as he pushes them around....it's so cute.

Brett the Fish
Last Saturday was the last swim class at the Chelsea pool. Not happy how cold the water was but we were able to warm Brett up pretty quick. Amazingly, he was one of the few babies that didn't have blue lips! The last class he was really into it. Towards the end, I even dunked him under the water. He didn't cry but he was a little unsure of it.

Spring is Here
Long time no blog....been busy enjoying the great weather. Brett is loving the outdoors.....more room to roam and new things to explore. He's adding a few words to his list now with new favorites like "stir" and "car". He also has figured out the tv and the cable box. Not lying, he now changes the channel and stops when he sees something he likes, which is usally something I don't. Watching basketball is a little bit of a struggle but he makes me laugh.
Had our last swim class on Saturday (new videos to post soon). The vidoes below are still from our great trip to Colorado. Watch Brett's body language with the stingray. The other one is with Uncle Jason who is, of course, teaching him to be loud.

Back from Denver
The Bingham boys
"Can I swing her?"
"Sharks!"
"Can I swing her?"
"Sharks!"
We are back from Denver and had a great time! Jason and I got two great days of skiing in while the girls and Brett had fun enjoying the warm weather and the aquarium downtown. Brett was a prince again on both flights. Several passengers even mentioned how good he was. All week in CO he was great. He made friends with Princess (their cat) and Bode (thier dog) and was super cute checking out cousin Lily in her swing. I know they are going to have fun growing up together. The last few days Jason and got back and hung out with the kids with everyone going to The Glenn for lunch and just us two taking the kids downtown to REI and the riverfront. Brett had a blast exploring their house and hanging out with his Aunt and Uncle. Kristin and I were so proud of Brett on how well he did through all the traveling!

Sledding
Brett and I went sledding at our little local hill this past Sunday. We had fun playing in the snow and trying to see how far we could go on the sled. I'll admit, I'm looking forward to when he can crawl up the hill because he was getting heavy after 4 or 5 times going back up. Towards the end we stayed on the bottom and made snowballs. This week it was a little nicer so Kristin took Brett outside....can't believe how quickly he caught on to walking! Getting ready to head to CO this week so looking forward to seeing my niece. Brett will be on his 2nd long trip in 6 months. Sleep might be a little of an adjustment with the time change but we will just roll with it.
