Splishing and splashing!

Brett absolutely LOVES bathtime!! All we have to do is say the word, and no matter what he is doing, he will drop it and march right to the bathroom and begin trying to climb in the tub!! Then, once he's in - the fun begins!!! Splashing, pouring water into containers, playing bathtub basketball --- whatever he's doing, he has a smile on his face and is one HAPPY boy :)

Outdoor fun!!!

Hi Madelyn! Will you play with me?

A toddler on a mission!

Aren't I cute?!

I am one happy boy!

Brett's favorite part about his new picnic table -
putting sticks and whatever else he can find
down the little hole in the middle. I mean, really,
what could be more fun that that?! :)

FestiFools parade

Last weekend we went to the FestiFools parade in Ann Arbor. One of those things that you have to see to understand but it's a bunch of huge homemade puppets, musicians, and funky costumes. Brett was really intrigued and had a serious face for most of it, pointing at all the different things. It was a great day for it too! Today I stayed home with Brett (took a vacation day) and took him to see the birds at the Leslie Science Center in Ann Arbor in the morning. We had fun exlporing and running down the huge hill there. Later in the day we played outside. I love days like this. He really makes being a dad wonderful! Life was so exciting, he didn't take a nap until 3:15!

Easter Videos

I finally got the Easter videos uploaded, a little late but it's still April, right. Brett had a great time with Kristin's parents and the extended family down in Manchester. I organized an Easter egg hunt for all the kids at Kristin's Aunt and Uncle's house. I think Brett had more fun running around with the kids than picking up eggs. Got to love his reaction at our house when he got his shovel and rake.

New Camera

Just got a new camera and had to add some of the photos. The clarity versus our old camera is amazing. I got a memory card that holds 700 pictures but I have a feeling Kristin and I will quickly fill it up of Brett. Somehow when you have "rapid" shot capacity pictures add up quickly.

Had a fun night tonight with Bill, Laura, and Abby at the restuarant at the local hockey rink and looking forward to the weekend. The kids seems to love running around the wide open space there and watching the kids play hockey.

The latest news on Brett is that he was found to have low iron levels so we are brushing up on all foods high in iron (common things like dandelion root). Actually, we got some drops for him and have found other things "more normal" for him to take. Poor guy had to get his blood drawn in his......forehead. Apparently that was the only place they could get a good vein. Glad I wasn't there because I would have been in tears. Didn't seem to phase him because he was back to himself in no time.

Easter Presents

Brett has been getting all kinds of Easter goodies throughout the week from both sides of the family. I forgot how fun Easter was as a kid! So far Brett has gotten more matchbox cars, cool books, a bubble maker, a rake & shovel, a picnic table, and a lawn mower. The video above is Brett opening his package from Grandpa and Grandma Mohler. Tomorrow we are going to Brett's great Uncle and Aunt's where we will be having an Easter egg hunt and eating Chinese food....don't ask.
