There is nothing that melts my heart more than seeing my boys play together. I am so in love with these two!

Cave of the Mounds
This past weekend we drove to Wisconsin for my brother-in-laws wedding! Since we arrived Thursday evening, we had some time to explore and have fun as a family before the big day on Saturday. Kyle did some research beforehand and found out that there were some caves nearby...and the best part? They were only a few miles down the road from where we were staying! We hung out with Kyle's family Thursday night, and then were off to explore Friday morning!
The first tour was full, so while we waited, we browsed the gift shops, enjoyed walking on the beautiful paths outside, and dug for gems and fossils!
Camden was such a smiley boy and loved hanging out while Brett dug for treasures!
Holding up one of the many shark teeth he found!
We decided to let Camden do some exploring too....and as you can see, he loved it!!!
I seriously cannot believe how big Brett looks in this picture! He is definitely looking more like a first grader these days. Where did my little boy go??
His basket of gems and fossils....so hard to choose which ones to take home!
Look at all those shark teeth!
Brett picked out a beautiful little Crystal from his stash to give to me, and then he told me that we should put it on a string so I can wear it as a necklace :-) He definitely knows how to make me feel special, that's for sure! Here he is standing next to the large Crystal in the gift shop while holding the one for me :-)
Here we are, all bundled up in our sweatshirts before heading into the caves. Camden was sound asleep in my arms and slept through half of the tour!
Let the exploring begin!!
Some paths were wide open....and others, like this one, were really narrow. I thought Brett might get a little scared, but nope...Kyle and I were the claustrophobic ones!
We had such a great time as a family and I'm so glad we had this opportunity to try something new together!

Meet the Cougar!
A couple weeks ago my friend Heather told me about a Wildlife Conservatory in Saline that we needed to check out. Over the weekends, they give small presentations about a featured animal of the month....and this month is the baby Cougar! Brett was so excited to go visit him and see the other animals too!!
When we arrived, we noticed many animals outside, including these beautiful Macaws!
We went straight to the Cougar as soon as we walked in...and she was happily playing with her toys :-) I have to admit though, seeing her all by herself in such a small area definitely made me sad. I never got the story of why she is in captivity, but no matter what the answer, I wish she could be in the wild where she belongs.
After visiting with her and some of the other animals, it was time for the presentation! Brett was in awe and so was I!
After the show, we visited with some more animals.....
The Praire Dogs were my favorite....after the cougar of course :-)
We had such a great time and already can't wait to go back!!! Easier to get to and cheaper than the zoo - ha!
Naked Baby!!
The other day we stripped Camden down and just let him be naked. Because really, is there anything cuter than a bare naked baby butt? I don't think so! He rolled around for at least a half hour, smiling and talking away :-)

6 months old!
This cutie pie was officially 6 months old on May 1st and today was his well visit! He is 19 pounds, 4 ounces (77th percentile) and 27.5 inches long (78th percentile)! Camden was such a ham at the doctors office and smiled at everyone! As you can see below, he is one happy baby boy!!
Camden is becoming more and more interactive by the day, grabbing at everything in site, and is starting to sit up all by himself for short periods of time. He's also starting to show a sense of humor and laughs at the silliest things! He is rolling over like crazy and trying really hard to crawl. Sometimes his determination is so strong, he will make a funny growling sound while trying to move! He started solids about a month ago, and so far loves it all....green beans, spinach, peas, carrots, fruit, etc :-) Camden is a curious little guy who likes to explore and touch everything around him....and his big brother lights up his world :-) Our life is fuller because of you, Camden James, and we love you more than words can say!
