I know, can you believe it?! Camden officially turned ONE YEAR OLD on November 1st! To celebrate his birthday, I decided it was time to get some professional pictures taken of our sweet one year old and his brother :-) I still can't believe how fast this past year has gone by, and to be honest, there is a part of me that is a little sad to say good-bye to the infant stage forever. However, I am so in love with the little person that Camden is becoming, and watching him learn and grow every day brings so much joy and happiness to my heart!
Camden absolutely adores his big brother, and watching their relationship develop more and more every day is one of the best gifts I could I ever ask for! There really is nothing quite like the love between two brothers. And to think, it's just the beginning!
Look at that cheesy grin! Showing off his teeth....6 to be exact!
Love.
I know this post is suppose to be about Camden, but I just couldn't help myself...I had to put this picture in of my handsome big boy! Look at that smile!
Our little family....perfectly complete since Camden came into our lives.
A couple more of my two loves together...
And finally, another one of my favorites.....Happy First Birthday, Camden!!!
Look at that little boy! Actually, he is still my baby and will be for quite some time :-) He really is just what our family needed and even though it's been a whole year since he was born, I never take for granted the gift that he is. The gift that both my boys are.
Camden is doing so many new things! He is now taking multiple steps at a time and walking more and more every day. We still get to see his monkey crawl (with hands and feet on the floor) but I'm realizing too soon it will be in the past and I will miss it dearly! Really, it's probably one of the cutest crawls I've ever seen (and I'm not biased or anything...ha!)! He is mimicking practically everything we do these days, and loves to dance, wave, and clap. He was a little fussy this afternoon (teething,,,it's a bitch) so I gave him a set of keys to play with. And guess what? He went straight to the back door and started trying to put them in the door knob! Just an example of how he watches everything we do :-) Camden loves to snuggle and when you ask him for a hug or kiss he endearingly puts his head on your shoulder. So sweet! He also can often be found hugging his stuffed Curious George, throwing balls, and making music with his instruments :-) Oh, and literally every time he hears any sort of tune (commercials, radio, me singing to him, etc), he starts to bob his head up and down and move to the beat. Awe, I love it!
Happy 1st Birthday, Camden James! We love you so very much and look forward to all the adventures we will have in your 2nd year!!
