Domino's Farm and Kyle's Work Picnic

One of our adventures a couple weeks ago was to Domino's Farm Petting Zoo! The boys love any activity involving animals so we all had a ton of fun! Camden could barely contain his excitement as he saw all the animals, and his many shrieks of joy melted my heart. He was just so happy!! Brett enjoyed his time there too, but not as much as years past. He went with the flow and liked seeing the animals and playing on the tractor....but he was also a bit bored at times. He still really enjoys seeing different animals but prefers slimy and scaly to soft and furry these days! Hence, his favorite part of our visit were the lizards in the little store and the baby toad he found in the fields!

Camden confidently walked right up to feed the goats with no fear at all!

And had a blast on the tractor!

Camden saw this little boy checking out the water bin and decided he should do the same :-) I imagine they were both thinking the same thing, that something had to be living in there.....or maybe they were waiting to see who was brave enough to jump in (which thankfully didn't happen)!

We sadly missed the hay ride, but Camden still had fun climbing in and out!

He was all smiles he 'talked' to the animals. He loves animals so much!

I quickly snapped this pic as Camden watched the baby toad hop away that Brett had found. Love his little squat!

Both boys insisted on checking out the tractor again before we left, and this time Brett even got up there!

Love these pictures of the two of them together!

My favorite one.

A few days later we went back to Gallup Park for Kyle's annual summer work picnic. It was another great party full of good food, wine and beer, lawn games, and bounce houses for the kids! I didn't take many pictures, but couldn't resist grabbing a few of the boys going down the huge slide and of Camden playing with all the geese!

We forgot to bring the healthy bird seed to feed them, so Brett stole some buns to share :-) And guess what? Later on I saw the caterer doing the same thing! Ha!

As I was uploading pictures for the post, I realized there are so many more photos of Camden! He's still growing and changing like crazy so I think I do take more pictures of him (Brett has just as many at his age) plus, Brett is at the age where he often tells me he doesn't want his picture taken and I try to respect that as best as I can :-) Sometimes, he doesn't have a choice though because I love pictures and hope to someday have time to put some more albums together....someday!
